The fight for freedom comes with turns that one doesn't expect. At first, we believe it will be a simple decision, a mindset shift, or conversation. But when real freedom is calling your name - it becomes a battle. Captivity doesn't loosen its grip easily. Having your voice silenced is a form of slavery. And to reach true freedom without any part of the chain remaining, a complete step out of and into may be the deciding factor of full freedom or freedom with some compromise.
I created this thought process ^ in my blog drafts, dated August 2022, and opened it again this evening. I'm going to leave that old date on here because I find it so interesting how this was linked together so may months later.... Just recently (today is 1/22/23), I was watching the protests in Iran and posted this quote (see below) from one of the protesters.... funny how these thoughts come with confirmation from others who just get it...
